The Peardale / Chicago Park area is located on Highway 174 between Grass Valley and Colfax. This landscape boasts lovely tree cover and an abundance of beautiful terrain. In 1880, the first settlers arrived at the Peardale area from Illinois. The region drew in travelers with its simple, natural beauty and rich soil. Peardale / Chicago Park was later settled by a group of Italian immigrants searching for a place to establish a new life and pear farming.
Today, Chicago Park is highly sought after. Homes tend to be a little pricier but offer incredible views and are within close proximity to wonderful local schools. From the majestic oaks and cedar trees to the expansive Rollins Lake, Peardale/ Chicago Park offers an abundance scenery and recreation.
